Classes for Kids
With many families where both parents
are at work all day, extra classes for kids are gaining popularity
all over.
Children spend a great deal of time in front of the television
or computer screen these days and do not get sufficient physical
exercise.
Coaching or hobby classes for kids keep them gainfully
occupied while they get exercise or learn something.
Many schools make
arrangements for extra classes for kids after school hours.
These
can be remedial classes or extra academic help in subjects like
math or science.

It could be a class where kids do their homework under supervision and
can get a bit of help with it if needed.
Many schools, public parks and
community centers offer facilities for training and coaching in different
sports. Kids can learn to swim, play tennis, baseball or basketball after
school or during the vacations.
They get much needed exercise and fosters sportsmanship
and team spirit in them. Indoor games like chess are very stimulating
too.
It is always a great idea to have a hobby or develop a talent. Pick
art or craft classes for kids which will stimulate their latent creativity.
They can choose to learn how to draw, use water colors, chalk or
crayons. Play dough, papier mache, pottery and ceramic painting
classes are always very popular with kids.
Playing with the dough,
clay or paper pulp is useful in releasing pent up aggression in children.
Origami, woodwork and calligraphy are useful skills to learn at a
young age. |

Children love dance and music. Choose from any number of dance classes
for kids from ballet and tap to salsa and jazzercise.
Children can learn
to play the piano, drums or violin if they are musically inclined. There
is no end to what a child can do in his spare time. Encourage as many
of her interests as is feasible – there may be great hidden potential
in your child.
